Project 33 — NEW YORK CITY
April 25–27, 2025 — New York City
For three days, 33 photographic artworks by Quentin Chamard-Bois were discreetly abandoned in the streets of New York — unframed, unprotected, and entirely free to take. Each piece bore a QR code, prompting the finder with a simple but essential question:
What did you feel?
Because in this project, emotion is authorship.
And you are part of its breath
You are no longer just a viewer.
You are part of its memory,
its constellation,
its invisible story.
This edition introduced a new layer to the project: hidden video cameras, silently recording each moment of encounter. Not for surveillance — but as a form of emotional cinema. The city became a stage. The public, unknowing actors in a poetic and collective ritual.
The New York edition of the 333 Project questions the emotional threshold of possession, the ethics of beauty in public space, and how art circulates when stripped of value, context, or command.
It is not about interpretation. It is about resonance.
Not what you think — but what moved you.
