Dual energy
I chose these two artworks because I was drawn to their bold colours - there’s something rich, dynamic, and alive about them. I used to gravitate toward softer pastels, but lately I’ve been challenging myself to go bolder and more graphic. There’s also a really positive energy in these pieces. The green feels grounding—very of my Taurus moon—while the pinks and reds feel emotional and expressive, which speaks to my Pisces sun. I like this dual energy, a feeling of stability and risk, which is exactly the space I’m in creatively and personally.
