I was reminded of a puzzle I’d completed last winter with all the cold blues and purples and yellows amongst the terrain of a snowy mountain. “Sixteen” reminded me of that time I spent in solitude in the winter until I finished it. “Twenty-one” reminded me of the warmth I felt within, a hopeful cozy holiday season, the first in years I’d wanted to celebrate. A gentle reminder that no matter the outside seasons, the fire within keeps us grounded and moving with gratitude. What a beautiful project for introspection!
